Indeed as Oscar Hammerstein's lyric says in South Pacific's "Happy Talk", "You gotta have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true?"
But just sitting there dreaming about your career future - your career objective - won't make that career future come true.
To make something happen you have to be proactive and do something!
Dreaming about your next holiday is wonderful, but to make it happen you have to convert it into a specific goal with a 'where' a 'when' a 'how' a 'with whom' and a 'for how long'.
Then comes the planning stage.
To do this you will either go online or you'll visit a travel agency and start asking questions and taking on board the answers you get.
Then finally all you need to do is to put the plan into action and book the holiday.
It doesn't matter whether it's your career or your next holiday, the process is the same: Dream, Goal, Plan, Act.
Do that and you dramatically increase the probability that it will happen!
